The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Friday, July 5 features a big day for Douglas, Thomas, and Hope. The little boy gives Hope the surprise of her life when he asks her to officially be his new mother.

Today is one of the most important days in Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) entire life. He and his young son are fully prepared to sweep Hope (Annika Noelle) off her feet in a way no one would ever expect. And, the entire plan rests in Douglas’ little hands.
The little boy puts his best puppy dog eyes on and asks Hope to marry his dad and become his new mom! Talk about a shocker! It’s so stunning Hope is not sure if this is even real. She quickly realizes it is and not know what to say.
The stunning situation will surely take everyone’s breath away. Hope is still grieving her daughter, upset over her annulment, and only days ago called “Phoebe” Beth. How can she possibly be ready for such a huge step?
The Investigation Begins
Thomas may not get away with these games much longer. Xander (Adain Bradley) is onto him and his murderous ways. He just needs to prove it. He calls in the big guns to help him take down the Forrester Prince!

Is this finally Charlie’s (Dick Christie) time to shine? Saving Hope, getting justice for Emma, and maybe even breaking the story about baby Beth would certainly shoot him into the spotlight. Can he pull this off? And, will the truth about Hope’s daughter do if he does?
Xander could also use some good karma. He is still lying and hiding the truth from Hope, after all. The easiest way to bring Thomas down would be to spill all so why not just do that?
