What Happened Previously on B&B?

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has been a wreck since she cheated on Finn (Tanner Novlan) with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). She wanted to tell her husband and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) the truth, but Carter convinced her not to. He’s scared he’ll lose his wife and his relationship with the Forresters.

To protect him and everyone they love, Steffy agreed to keep quiet. However, her guilt has weighed so heavily on her that she thought it was making her sick. Only it wasn’t guilt causing her nausea and dizziness. Steffy took a pregnancy test and panicked when it was positive. A second test confirmed the results of the first.

Wasting no time, Steffy told Carter that she was pregnant. A baby changes the situation for her. She decided she couldn’t keep up the lie. Carter didn’t share the same opinion. Desperate to keep their secret, he raced to stop Steffy from blowing up their lives.

Carter and Daphne are in the middle of determining whether surrogacy is the path they want to take to have a child. Daphne has come a long way through her grief over not being able to conceive.
