The Young and the Restless is known for having celebrity guests such as Wayne Gretzky, Rich Little, Il Divo, and Aaron Neville come onto the show for brief appearances. This week, viewers saw the 2008 episode in which singer Katy Perry (Firework) appeared as herself as the cover subject for an edition of the magazine Restless Style. She shared scenes with a beloved The Bold and the Beautiful character — Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz).
Adrienne Frantz Sends Good Wishes
As viewers recall, the magazine was operated by Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case). Also, Amber worked at the magazine.

Frantz is referring to the daughter that the American Idol judge is expecting along with her fiancée Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings). Last month, Frantz and her husband, Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy, Guiding Light), welcomed their second child, a son, Lion Michael Bailey, into the world.

Frantz made the BB scene as Ambrosia “Amber” Moore in 1997. She was Rick’s (Jacob Young) babysitter and then the two had an affair. She became pregnant with his son, but he died shortly after birth. Amber tried to pass off her cousin Becky’s (Marisa Tait) son as Rick’s but she eventually shared the truth with him.
Later, Amber left town and wound up in Genoa City. She was involved with both Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei), reconnected with pal Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and wrote Katherine Chancellor’s (the late Jeanne Cooper) memoir before returning to Los Angeles (and BB) for another round of drama.
During her second BB stint, Amber gave birth to a daughter, Rosie, fathered by Marcus (Texas Battle). Frantz appears open to reprising Amber on either soap. Might that happen? Stay tuned.
