The Bold and the Beautiful Performer of the Week Lawrence Saint-Victor

Ridge recently called Carter one of the smartest guys he knows so, of course, he’s going to stay away from Eric’s wife Quinn on The Bold and the Beautiful, right? Well, maybe not. Lawrence Saint-Victor’s Carter may indeed be smart, but he’s also passionate and has made a deep connection to Quinn. For playing such a multi-faceted character, Soap Hub bestows Performer of the Week honors for The Bold and the Beautiful on Lawrence Saint-Victor.

Lawrence Saint-Victor — Performer of the Week

Carter Walton was just as shocked as anyone else when Eric Forrester (John McCook) allowed the company COO to keep his job despite his fling with his wife on The Bold and the Beautiful. But Lawrence Saint-Victor has shown that the days of Carter officiating other people’s unions are over. He’s going to experience life and that means staying connected to the woman he can’t get out of his head!

Carter can be vulnerable and open (and shirtless) when he’s with Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer). He’s told her how important she is to him and he can’t stop thinking about her.

Quinn said she couldn’t stay in Carter’s life because she’d ruin it and went to leave; he literally held onto her hand longer, hoping to get her to change her mind. Carter left go of Quinn’s hand but she’s still got his heart.

Even though Carter knows he’s continuing to play with fire on The Bold and the Beautiful, he can’t help but be playful with Quinn. When Eric phoned Carter at home (not knowing Quinn was there) and requested he come to the office, Carter made a dry pun about his intimacy with Quinn while he was still on the phone! When the attorney got to the office, he was all business.

Carter had a difficult task in front of him when Eric said he was doing away with Quinn’s jewelry/accessory line. He had to walk a fine line between wanting to recommend what was best for the company (which is his job) and not wanting Quinn to lose her livelihood (because he cares about her). Carter kept the focus on doing what was best for Forrester from a financial perspective.

Once Carter realized he had an ally in Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), who saw the merit in keeping Quinn’s jewelry and accessory line alive, Carter kept quiet in order to not become too much of a champion for her.

Carter was relieved when Eric was swayed but had to downplay it so as not to arouse suspicion. Later, Ridge told Carter this meant more work for him but, again, Carter downplayed anything Quinn-related so nobody would think the two are still seeing one another.

Carter asked Quinn to meet him so he could give her the news that he (and Ridge) managed to convince Eric that Forrester Creations keep Quinn’s jewelry line. He could have done that in a text but Lawrence Saint-Victor played it as Carter wanting to see Quinn’s reaction in person.

Frankly, Quinn and Carter need to stop saying goodbye to one another because they’re incapable of following through with such declarations. There’s electric chemistry every time they’re in the same room together.

Quinn’s complimented Carter on his calming touch and his sweet voice, adding he helps her feel free to be herself. In turn, Carter shared his feelings with her — using not just one “L” word but two: love and lust. Lawrence Saint-Victor and Carter emerging as a leading man on The Bold and the Beautiful are both long overdue but given the actor’s performances, it’s been well worth the wait!
