That Was Fast: Should Steffy’s Paternity Puzzle Be Over So Soon?

Sure, technically, it’s being told over two years (this year’s and last), but Steffy’s surprise pregnancy story on The Bold and the Beautiful has been unfolding with lightning speed. No sooner did she have her dalliance with her father-in-law Bill then she found out she was pregnant!

Forget about waiting for February sweeps for Liam (Scott Clifton) to find out a paternity test was taken. That happened before 2017 came to a close! Soap Hub asked B&B fans if they think that this story’s been told too quickly. Read on for the results!

Premature Delivery
The majority of you, just under 60%, don’t feel that the story’s being told too quickly at all. You voted, “I don’t need months and months of hand-wringing. Get to the drama!” There was a time when it would have taken longer for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam to reconcile.

Then, Steffy would have had a missed cycle (which could take up to two months), and she would have gone to her confidante on the show and speculated she might be pregnant. Instead, B&B opted to tell this tale over a matter of weeks!

What’s Next?
