The Bold and the Beautiful on-again/off-again pair, Ridge and Brooke, is on the cusp of breaking up over Bill Spencer, and this surely isn’t the first time they’ve has parted ways!
Unforgettable
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) looked like she was going to win Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) heart when the show first began. In fact, before the 1980s came to a close, Brooke was pregnant and engaged to Ridge.
After she miscarried, Ridge called off the engagement (he’d popped the question before Brooke conceived). Not long after, he decided he was in love with Caroline (Joanna Johnson) and married her.
Taylor-Made
After Caroline’s death, Ridge took up with her doctor, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo). Ridge also reconnected with Brooke, but she had moved on and married Eric (John McCook). Ridge decided to ask Taylor to marry him. Partly, because he loved her and also he wanted Brooke to stay with his dad.
Affairs Of The Heart
Brooke and Ridge’s marriage was ruled invalid a second time after Taylor was revealed to be alive. Stephanie (Susan Flannery) lied that she’d had a heart attack. Ridge felt pressured into dumping Brooke and reuniting with Taylor. After the truth came out, Brooke entered a quickie rebound marriage — with Eric!
Unblock My Heart
Ridge and Brooke finally put differences behind them and remarried in 2012 and left town on a glorious honeymoon.

Alas, it was cut short after Ridge discovered that Brooke was texting her ex-lover Deacon (Sean Kanan), with whom she shares a daughter, Hope (Annika Noelle). Ridge saw this as a betrayal and the couple split once more.
Now it appears as if Ridge and Brooke are going to split once again, this time over Bill (Don Diamont). While staying apart forever doesn’t seem likely, there’s much fun to be had watching Ridge and Brooke finding their way back to one another!
