The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, February 12 features Liam defending an emotional Hope to Steffy as his wife continued to grapple with the alleged death of her daughter.
Fighting Words
Flo (Katrina Bowden) continued keeping Zoe (Kiara Barnes) at bay so that she didn’t probe into “her” baby’s adoption. She tried to get the spare apartment key from Zoe but she wouldn’t give it up. Flo said she has nothing else to tell Zoe, so Zoe left.
Parental Concern
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) told Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that she brought Hope (Annika Noelle) along so that she experiences joy once more in her life.
Ridge said he fell in love with Phoebe right away too. However, Brooke was concerned how Hope was moving on with her life given her pain. She didn’t want Phoebe supplanting Beth’s memory.
Frank Talk
Hope told Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that holding baby Phoebe (in reality, baby Beth) makes her feel better.

Later, Hope saw Steffy and Liam re-enter the room, each holding one of the babies, and then the caught a glimpse of the photo of Liam and Steffy hanging on the wall.
Hope left, telling Liam to spend time with his daughter. Later, Hope told Brooke and Ridge that only Phoebe makes her feel better. Brooke asked Hope is it’s a good idea for her to be so attached to Phoebe.
Ask Xander
Zoe returned to Forrester and bounced ideas off Xander (Aidan Bradley) as to what could be going on with Flo and the adoption. Zoe told a shocked Xander that she didn’t understand all the papers she saw, but she did read them long enough to see that Flo is Phoebe’s biological mom.
Alone Time
Steffy urged Liam to focus on Hope but appreciated his support. She also noted that Hope almost called Phoebe “Beth.” She pointed out that it’s not a good long-term solution. Liam said Hope needs Steffy’s support.
