The Bold and the Beautiful is currently treating its viewers to classic re-airings of past episodes as the coronavirus has caused a production shutdown in Hollywood. The earliest episode being shown next week is from 1991. But there’s a way BB fans can go back even further!

The Bold and the Beautiful: Back To The Beginning

On CBS.com, viewers can watch the first 25 episodes of BB. Not only were the Forresters front and center from the beginning, but Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and the Spencer family also go back to BB’s early days.

The show debuted on March 23, 1987. While fashion shows have always been a part of the series, BB didn’t overreach in its premiere. Yes, there was a fashion show, but viewers only saw it from a backstage perspective as Eric (John McCook), Ridge (then-Ronn Moss), and Thorne (then-Clayton Norcross) worked overtime to make the show a success!

Meanwhile, viewers took an instant liking to Brooke as she had gotten free of a bad guy who tried dragging her into a van. Ridge proposed to Caroline (Joanna Johnson), but was it because he truly loved her or was he playing games with her dad, Bill (James Storm)?

In BB’s second episode, Eric returned home and encountered his wife, Stephanie (Susan Flannery). It was clear from the beginning that their marriage had seen better days. Eric described it best when he used the word “malaise.” Throughout the first 25 episodes, viewers will see why Ridge and Caroline’s first marriage ceremony was called off, as well as the tension between Stephanie and her daughter Kristen (Teri Ann Linn).

These episodes also introduced the rest of the Logan clan — Brooke’s sisters Donna (then-Carrie Mitchum) and Katie (then-Nancy Sloan) and members who’ve since passed on including Storm (then-Ethan Wayne), Beth (then-Judith Baldwin), and Grandma Logan (Lesley Woods).

Check out these episodes for a history lesson in BB by going to CBS.com and don’t miss other classic episodes in the show’s current time slot. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
