The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) has told Steffy and Liam’s marital crisis story at a breakneck pace! Even though the test results show that Liam’s the dad of her unborn child, that may not be enough to keep his marriage together.
And is Liam (Scott Clifton) really the dad? Soap Hub asked readers to speculate. Read on for the results!
You’re Not The Father!
Uh-oh, Liam! Just under 30% believe that you’re the dad. Eagle-eyed B&B viewers couldn’t help but notice that Bill (Don Diamont) — the other baby daddy candidate — just happened to be at the hospital when Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was there for her paternity test.
Was he there getting a flu shot? Probably not. Most of you are guessing that Bill was there to either make a big donation to the hospital in exchange for them tampering with the blood tests or doing something to make sure Liam believes he’s the baby’s dad.
Double Twist
While it’s rare that paternity tests aren’t rigged on soaps, maybe the twist in this story will be that Bill wasn’t able to switch the results and Liam truly is the dad! That would mean a little over 70% of you are incorrect in guessing that Bill is the father. But even with Liam as the dad, the outlook for Steffy and Liam’s marriage isn’t good. Not at all!

Paternity Shocker
There’s one big reason that B&B may keep Liam as Steffy’s baby’s father. The writers may be planning a paternity switch in another storyline that’s currently not being played. We believe that Thomas (Pierson Fodé) is the father of Caroline’s (Linsey Godfrey) son Douglas because Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) had a vasectomy.
But what if that procedure didn’t take? That would open a door to prove that Ridge, not Thomas, is the father. So as not to repeat a potential twist in one story, B&B may change a direction in another paternity tale. But the bigger question remains as to whether or not Liam and Steffy have a future?
