Katie and Wyatt’s carefree, no-strings attached romance got stuck with a “thorn” on The Bold and the Beautiful – literally. Wyatt spied his lady love share a smooch with Ridge’s kid brother and, in order to protect himself, called the whole thing off.

The majority of you, 77% to be exact, do feel sorry for Wyatt. He doesn’t know that the kiss didn’t really mean much to Katie (Heather Tom) and he’s protecting himself from being hurt further. While he’s a Spencer heir, Wyatt may think he can’t hold a candle to worldly Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher).
Perhaps what hurts Wyatt the most is that Katie wasn’t honest with him about her moment with Thorne.

The rest of you, 23%, don’t feel sorry for Wyatt. Perhaps that’s because he deserves what he gets for not confronting Katie over the fact that he saw her kissing Thorne.

Maybe that’s because Wyatt would have to admit that he was using a telescope to check out what Katie was doing! Wyatt and Katie have been a fun, uncomplicated couple, but they’ve also been fairly honest with each other. If only Wyatt had come clean with Katie he would have given her the chance to tell him that Thorne means nothing to her.
Or Does He?
The miscommunication between Wyatt and Katie will likely be cleared up — eventually. But in that time, will Katie move on to have an actual relationship with Thorne? Then it’ll be more difficult for Wyatt and Katie to reunite.
The couple’s been a hit with viewers because of their relationship has been mostly free of complications. It’s had moments of humor and lightness. Now, it’s hit its first major hurdle. Will they make it better? Can they? Stay tuned!
