As veteran fans of The Bold and the Beautiful recall, Deacon Sharp is the father of Hope Logan. Is it time for Hope’s dad to come back to the canvas to help Brooke mend her broken heart?
Deacon is played by fan-favorite Sean Kanan. The character, one of BB’s best all-time bad boys, went off to jail for nearly killing Quinn (Rena Sofer), but it’s hard to keep a good man down. Especially when that “good man” is a story antagonist like Deacon! Soap Hub asked BB fans if they want to see Deacon return. Read on to get the results.
Sharp Point
Not surprisingly, almost 55% of you say that you’d love to see Deacon back on the show. For starters, he needs to meet his granddaughter Beth! Then, Deacon can let Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) know in no uncertain terms that he’ll be watching him in case he tries to pull any moves on either Hope or Brooke.
Deacon cares for them both and they need to have a champion now that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has turned to Shauna (Denise Richards).
Delaying Deacon
Interestingly, a little over 44% of The Bold and the Beautiful fans say that no, you don’t want Deacon back. We suspect that you feel that Brooke may be vulnerable to her ex if he were around. And since you want Ridge and Brooke back together, then it stands to reason you don’t want Deacon around.

But let’s face it. There’s a lot he can be doing. The character has chemistry with pretty much every leading lady the show gives him. If Deacon were to return, he’d have issues to settle with Quinn before moving onto another lady.
And The Rest
Less than 1% of you voted “other.” One fan thinks that Deacon and Shauna would make a good couple. Imagine if Deacon was revealed to be Flo’s (Katrina Bowden) dad instead of Storm. That’d make Hope and Flo half-sisters!
