In the 1980s, prime time soaps were all the rage. Now, a new drama in the vein of those beloved series is being produced for today’s audience! The series Paper Empire boasts an all-star cast including Denise Richards, who’s currently steaming up the screen on The Bold and the Beautiful as Shauna Fulton.

Robert Gillings (The Kings of Brooklyn) is the series creator/producer/director. The serial drama stars Robert Davis (ex-Fish, General Hospital) as Laurence Fintch, who runs a wealth management company.
However, everyone in his life feels betrayed after it’s revealed not is all that it seems in Fintch’s world. Subsequently, Fintch is sentenced to 150 years in the slammer!
Richards plays Bentley, Fintch’s wife, who reconnects with her ex-husband William Haines (played by Gillings) in an effort to get her husband out of his medium-security prison. Wesley Snipes (Passenger 57) plays Damon Moore. Anne Archer (Falcon Crest) has been cast as FBI Director Jordan, who is not pleased with how the investigation into the Fintch family is going.
Steve Guttenberg (Three Men And A Baby) plays Saul, Fintch’s accountant, who blows the whistle on his boss. William McNamara (Doing Time On Maple Drive) plays Chris Parmel. Michael Nouri (ex-Caleb, All My Children; ex-Elliot, The Young and the Restless; ex-Steve, Search for Tomorrow) plays Gino.
Shot on location in Florida, Paper Empire has it all — a name cast, high-stakes drama, and sensational locales. The only thing it doesn’t have quite yet is a home! The show could end up on a network, cable channel, or streaming service.
