While he’s proud of his daughter, he’s also jealous. It’s clear the news isn’t going to sit well, but it wouldn’t have any way. Ridge will not accept anyone being the boss aside from himself. In Ridge’s mind, he’s the only one who deserves a seat on the throne.
Ridge has proven his worth over and over again so to have Eric pass him by is insulting, to say the least. He’s not going to stand for this and heads straight to the mansion to have it out with Eric.
