Breaking The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, January 9 promise a day when opportunities arise for two prominent Forresters. One will get an offer she can’t refuse, and the other takes lemons and plans to make delicious lemonade.
Brooke’s Going Away!
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) needs time to de-stress over her man drama. Bouncing between Ridge and Bill (Don Diamont) isn’t healthy, and she needs some breathing room. She’s packing up and heading to Italy to visit Hope (Kim Matula), and she’s praying she’ll gain some clarity.
Ridge Plots Against Quinn!
While the sudden trip bothers Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to no end, he can’t help but see the bright side of her journey.
If Brooke is out of the way, he can finally put his plans for Quinn (Rena Sofer) into action. Seducing her will be much easier without guilt-inducing Brooke hanging over his shoulder.

Eric Opens His Checkbook!
Meanwhile, Eric has a new plan to keep Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) under his thumb. If logic and compassion won’t help, maybe throwing more money her way will. He’s hoping he can find the right number to make Steffy more than happy to bend to all his commands.
Steffy’s Stuck Between Love and Money!
Unfortunately, Steffy isn’t going to take Eric’s (John McCook) interference well, but it does give her a lot to consider. She has to decide which is more important — her love life or her financial freedom. She can’t have both, but the prospect of losing either one overwhelms her. What she decides will change everything and alter the course of her entire life.
