The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers (BB) for Thursday, August 3 start on a high note. First, Quinn is thrilled when she receives a call from Eric stating that he’s ready to return home. But then things go downhill…
There’s No Place Like Home
Ever since Eric (John McCook) stomped out in a huff after finding out about Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Quinn’s kiss — hey, thanks for that, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) — his wife has been praying for him to come home.
Especially once Quinn (Rena Sofer) learned that Eric was staying at a sleazy motel — right next door to the aforementioned Sheila.
Quinn begged Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to put in a good word for her. Then she hoped Ridge would be able to talk some sense into his dad.
Steffy struck out — then took off for Monte Carlo. Ridge got disowned (albeit a lot more gently than Nick over on The Young and the Restless. Ridge got a kiss. Nick got a punch).

But Quinn’s faith held, and she got her reward. Eric called. He’s coming home. And he has something to tell her.

Once More Into the Breach
Remember when Katie (Heather Tom) didn’t have a love life of her own to obsess over, so she decided it was her business to stick her nose into Ridge and Caroline’s (Linsey Godfrey) marriage, and whether or not Ridge was actually Douglas’s father?
He wasn’t. Thomas (Pierson Fodé) was. But it was still none of Katie’s business.
