The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, October 1 features more courtroom drama. This time, it’s Bill’s team that takes the stand.
Standing By Dad
Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) intentions of helping Bill (Don Diamont) backfired when his relationship with Katie (Heather Tom) was brought to light.
While it should have made his ex-stepmom look terrible, it was Bill’s reaction that took the cake. Bill’s over-the-top temper came out and he was as volatile as they come.
Not only that, but Wyatt’s own mother doing everything she could to keep Bill away from him was another hit to Bill’s case. Three children, three mothers, and all of them trying to protect their kids.
The one saving grace about Wyatt’s testimony was when he brought up Bill’s recent shooting. His father was a victim of a vicious attack, so is it surprising he missed out on some time with his youngest child? Bill almost died and had to fight his way back, and he did.
Brooke Backfired!
As if Wyatt’s testimony wasn’t bad enough, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) made things much, much worse. She couldn’t bring herself to bash her sister and downplayed Katie’s faults.
Katie’s bout of postpartum depression is something many moms go through and her drinking was a side effect of a terrible marriage. In fact, Katie’s alcoholic episodes were chalked up to Brooke sleeping with her sister’s husband.

From Bad to Worse!
Bill looked bad and made it worse for himself when he took over proceedings, asking Carter’s questions for him but came clean about some seriously shady behavior. However, he assured the judge it was all in the past. He messed up before but he promised he wouldn’t do it again.
Unfortunately, once Bill got going he didn’t stop while he was ahead. Instead, he took a few too many jabs at Katie. He called her wedding a sham and slammed her for not standing by him when he took her side for years.
Then, Bill did the unthinkable. He threatened to fight with all his might if the judge ruled against him!
Steffy Dropped A Truth Bomb
Meanwhile, back at the FC office, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) worried about the outcome of the trial.
Hope was on Team Katie all the way but Steffy wasn’t so sure. Bill is known to never give up and the outcome of the trial will do little to appease him.
