As The Bold and the Beautiful’s (BB) 30th anniversary year continues, three more past cast members want to wish the half-hour serial a happy birthday!

Ex-B&B hunks Jack Wagner (ex-Nick), Patrick Duffy (ex-Steven) and Jane the Virgin star Justin Baldoni (ex-Graham, the predatory photographer who tried to have his way with Hope) talked to Soap Hub about what being on B&B has meant to them!

Jack Wagner (ex-Nick)
“I want to give a big shout out and congratulations to Brad Bell [head writer and executive producer], the Bell family, and CBS for 30 years of B&B. They’re really slugging it out for Daytime TV.

“Soap operas have been such a huge part of American culture for the last 50 years, and to have B&B start when it did and survive this long is a testament to Brad and his writing staff and all the people there at the show.

“My time on B&B was nothing but fun and professional. I made friends there whom I’m still friends with today.”

Patrick Duffy (ex-Steven)
“I had a wonderful time on B&B. I was not stunned by this, but I was so happy to see that the cast is such a congenial group of people. They all like each other and get along so well. Being on B&B honed my craft.

“I was used to doing three pages a day in a scene with several people. I think my first day at B&B I had 38 pages! You have to be on your game. I worked with Susan [Flannery, ex-Stephanie; ex-Leslie, Dallas] on both shows.

“She was the stunning ‘femme fatale’ on Dallas! When I met her on B&B, she’d become the matriarch. She was absolutely lovely and inclusive. Susan would say, ‘You want to come to my room and run lines?’”

Justin Baldoni (ex-Graham)
“Congratulations, B&B! And happy 30 years! Being on that show was great for me. It gave me a chance to see what it’s like to learn a whole lot of lines in a very short amount of time and do multiple episodes. It was like doing theater. Everyone was really nice. I’m really grateful I got a chance to do it!”
