Weekly Recap: June 8-12, 2026
Monday, June 8 – Episode #303
Joey (Jon Lindstrom) was prepared to see The Impaler. Instead, the person he met with was his sister, Heather (Ashley Jones). They reconnected, and she told her brother that she lives in London. And oh yeah, she’s also The Impaler. Joey laughed, not taking her seriously at first. But he ended up believing her. While the Red Market Ring is no longer in the DMV, she did want to team up. Joey said he wasn’t into that kind of business. Ultimately, she left, but it felt like they would see each other again.
Meanwhile, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) phoned Dani (Karla Mosley) and asked her to come over to Joey’s to help ease her anxiety. And it worked for a bit, but then Dani shared some hard truths about Vanessa’s relationship with Joey and the safety of her kids. Needless to say, Vanessa wasn’t happy, and she asked Dani to leave.
Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Andre (Sean Freeman) updated each other on the current state of their romantic relationships, meaning Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) and Dani. Izaiah (Lami) and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) spent time at Uptown, Derek’s favorite place when he was alive. Jacob opened up about losing Derek (Ben Gavin) while Izaiah talked about Eva (Ambyr Michelle).
Elsewhere, Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) attempted to get an invite to Martin’s fundraiser. She lobbied to be Eva’s plus-one, but she told her mama that Izaiah was the one she would bring to the high-profile event. Leslie then tried Martin’s campaign manager. She said there may be a few seats left, but they come at a hefty price.
Tuesday, June 9 – Episode #304
The Richardson-Smith family was at the country club. It wasn’t just Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning). But Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) and Samantha (Najah Jackson) were also there for a photo shoot in preparation for the fundraiser. Andre was the photographer.
Later, Martin and Smitty talked about the fundraiser. The congressman was nervous because his poll numbers were stagnant, and he felt that his grandfather enlisted Y&R’s Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as the keynote speaker as a Hail Mary. Smitty reassured his husband that everything was good and he was doing the right thing.
Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) were dressed for their grandson’s big event. They reminisced about Vernon’s days campaigning for the Senate. Anita reminded her husband how Victor had changed the trajectory of Vernon’s race. Cut to Victor getting on an elevator. He was on the phone telling someone he was about to get on a helicopter to Fairmont Crest.
Later, Victor and the helicopter landed on Fairmont Crest property. Vernon and his chauffeur were right there to pick him up and take him to the country club, where the fundraiser was located. In the limo, the two friends reminisced and reconnected over tequila.
At Dani’s house, she and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) chatted while in their fancy dresses. Naomi worried about Ashley (Jen Jacob), who had holed herself up in her apartment ever since Derek’s death. Dani told her that, since Jacob was too busy working to be by Naomi’s side, maybe she could somehow convince Ashley to be her plus-one. Just as Naomi left, Andre arrived. He gave his wife a gift that Dani stumbled upon by accident. A special ring that he originally wanted to give her when they went to Tokyo.
Meanwhile, at the precinct, Jacob was as cranky as ever. He locked horns with Elon (Malachi Malik). Jacob was frustrated at the lack of progress in the plasma ring case. And he wanted to wait around for Lia (Cecelia Specht) to be transferred from the hospital to holding. Jacob had been trying to get information out of Ren (Donny Carrington) about The Impaler. After he tried again, he told his father he got a name.
Joey and Vanessa got ready for the fundraiser. Yes, Joey would be attending. And he didn’t even put up a fight. They discussed reconnecting with his sister. He said he hadn’t been surprised like that in a long time. Before they could leave for the event, Jacob stopped by to ask Joey about the lead he got from Ren. Joey knew the name and gave Jacob his take on the guy. But the name sure had nothing to do with Joey’s sister.
Over at Orphey Gene’s, Mona (Karan Kendrick) organized an event to raise money for her church’s new Sunday School center. Leslie crashed it, pleasing Jan (Jerri Tubbs) and scoring some points with Mona when she gave her a huge donation — she handed over the moderately big check in a Femore’s shopping bag.
Wednesday, June 10 – Episode #305
Martin’s fundraiser started in true fashion. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) from Genoa City arrived. They said hello to Vernon and Anita. And then Vernon made sure to keep Jack away from Victor, leaving Anita to ask Jack and Diane about Jabot. Kyle (Michael Mealor) then showed up, and Jack and Diane introduced him to Anita, who then thanked Diane for Jabot’s big contribution to her charity foundation.
As for The Abbotts’ fellow Wisconsin residents, Devon (Bryton James) and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), they entered the fundraiser when Devon reconnected with Dani. The two, of course, knew each other. Andre arrived on the scene just in time to get a little jealous. And Devon introduced Abby to them. Elsewhere, Naomi convinced Ashley to attend the fundraiser. She helped her bestie find something to wear.
Back at the country club, the guests mixed and mingled. Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Martin walked around the room. Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) arrived and immediately ran into Dani and Andre. Shanice and Ted (Keith D. Robinson) were there together. Victor told Vernon he must be so proud that Martin was following in his grandfather’s footsteps. Dani gasped and recognized Diane Jenkins from her modeling days. And Diane certainly knew who Dani Dupree was. Meanwhile, Jack recognized Andre’s name and mentioned that Jabot had tried to hire him several times.
A reporter tried to trick Eva into saying something that could blow back on Martin. But Kat (Colby Nixon), in her own Kat way, prevented that from happening. Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) spoke with Abby. The two bonded over her handbags, and because of Abby, Chelsea may be creating a mom bag.
Martin couldn’t believe that Joey Armstrong showed up to the fundraiser. Vanessa was livid when the Duprees basically exiled Joey to the other room because they couldn’t have any pics showing Martin and Joey together showing up online. The optics were bad, and Vanessa didn’t understand that. Anastasia (Timeca Seretti) tapped into her superpower, which is verbally tearing someone to pieces. This time her target was Ashley. Dani took her up to the bridal suite so the nurse could escape the drama.
Hayley connected with Y&R’s Kyle. Devon told Anita they finally found a producer to incorporate Barbara’s voice onto the tracks that the Articulettes will release as a new album. Leslie bought her way into the fundraiser and crashed this conversation with Anita, Vernon, Devon, and Abby. And she had an illuminating conversation with Diane. She knew all about Diane’s colorful past.
Vernon introduced the keynote speaker, Victor, who gave his speech and introduced Martin. Unfortunately, as the episode ended, Martin first announced a tornado watch. But then a tornado struck the Fairmont Crest Country Club…and Bill and Dani got stuck in the elevator.
Thursday, June 11 – Episode #306
The country club took a direct hit from the tornado. Martin told everybody to get to safety. Leslie cozied up to Anita and Vernon. Bill and Dani were in the elevator when they heard the tornado rip through the country club. Ashley and Naomi took cover in the bridal suite. They couldn’t get a signal on their phones.
At the precinct, Jacob and Elon talked. They couldn’t get a hold of anybody. Elon told his son he would get in touch with the Maryland State Police before they did anything. Anita sprained her ankle, and Leslie was the one who wrapped it up. Anita was reluctant, but she let it happen. Anastasia was shaken. Chelsea, Jack, and Diane decided to see how everybody not in the main room was faring. Devon asked Jack to keep an eye out for Victor. Dani tried to find a way out of the elevator.
Chelsea reported that Shonda (Dawntavia Marrero), Martin’s campaign manager, was keeping a running head count. Kyle and Hayley were stuck in a closet. Kyle gave her his jacket to wear. Eva and Kat were together. A hot and heavy pipe was smoking. Kat called for help and asked Eva if she was just going to sit there. But Eva was hurt. She couldn’t get up. Meanwhile, at the precinct, Jacob decided to head over to the country club to join the emergency response teams.
Thanks to Vernon, walkies were distributed to a few. Anita talked to Nicole. They updated each other. Ashley and Shanice used their nursing skills to help. Missing were Martin, Kat, Victor, Dani, and Bill. Kyle and Hayley grew closer in the closet. They ended up kissing. Ted helped Andre out with his injured leg. Vernon and Naomi divvied up big picture responsibilities. Ashley and Andre talked on the walkie. She assured him that they would find Dani.
Somebody spotted a body under a tree in the main room. It was Martin, and he was unconscious. Joey, Jack, and Smitty worked on lifting the tree. Jacob had trouble getting to the country club. He had to take another route due to howling winds, downed trees, and power lines. Leslie freaked out about Eva, and Anita helped her realize that she wasn’t being punished for her misdeeds.
Kat continued to scream for help, but didn’t realize Eva was unwell. And then Eva started coughing up blood. Smitty told an unconscious Martin he would be fine. Vernon got the generator going. Dani sat on Bill’s shoulder, trying to open the hatch to get out of the elevator. When the backup generator kicked in, the exes fell. First responders found Kyle and Hayley.
Dani and Bill started hooking up in the elevator. Kat told Eva that she wasn’t allowed to die. Kat told Izaiah that they were under the stairs. Eva was there, too. But when Kat looked at her half-sister, she was unconscious. Finally, Abby was on the phone in the middle of the room, right under the chandelier, when suddenly it dropped.
Friday, June 12 – Episode #307
The chandelier started to fall, and Diane yelled, “Watch out!” Joey was able to get to Abby in time. Abby thanked Joey and told Devon that she was okay, just shaken up. Meanwhile, Martin started to wake up. Jacob made it into the country club, where he and Naomi reunited. And the first responders cleared the obstacle and freed Kyle and Hayley. Anita spotted them when they came out.
Andre worried about Dani. Martin didn’t remember getting pinned underneath a tree. He said that he didn’t feel any broken bones, however. After Shanice gave Abby a clean bill of health, Chelsea told Abby and Devon that Victor was safe and sound back in Genoa City. He had had time to slip out after his speech and got out of the area. Anita told Hayley that her husband was missing, then warned Kyle about a viper like Hayley.
In the elevator, Bill and Dani instantly looked guilty. Izaiah approached Jacob and a firefighter for help with Eva and Kat. Nicole and Ted told Martin he had to go to the hospital for testing. And then Nicole yelled at Leslie using a walkie-talkie. Vernon decided to comfort Leslie. Jack thanked Joey for coming to Abby’s rescue. Smitty and Martin immediately filled Jack in on who he was talking to and told him to basically forget he ever met that man. Because Joey was liable to call him up for a favor someday.
The elevator opened. They agreed not to say anything and got their stories straight. Then they went their separate ways. Dani reunited with Chelsea and Nicole, then with Andre. Hayley reunited with Bill, who said he was trapped in the stairwell. She noticed he wasn’t covered in dust or anything. Kyle, Jack, and Diane were reunited. Anita complimented Vernon on being grace under pressure during this tragedy.
Eva was taken to Garland Memorial. Naomi reunited with her mother. Kat told Ted what happened with her and Eva. Ted and Izaiah left for the hospital. Jacob told Kat not to blame herself for this. It was a whole tornado. Nobody else will blame her. She said that he knew that was not true. Kat ran into Tomas’s (Alex Alegria) arms.
Vanessa mentioned needing to contact her kids to make sure that they were okay at Banneker. Jack told the Duprees they were headed straight to the airport to return to Genoa City. The streets were safe for regular traffic again. Kyle said they would love to host the Duprees in Genoa City sometime. Dani told Andre they would go to Garland to get his leg checked out. Nicole and Chelsea took a moment now that things were quiet. Andre declared how deeply in love with Dani he was.
Martin announced he would donate all the money they raised tonight to tornado relief efforts. Then he stood up way too quickly. He wanted to go home, but he told Smitty he was recovered. And then he promptly collapsed.
