Dad and Daughter Reunion Comes With a Purpose
BTG’s killer Friday cliffhanger featured the not-so-late Doug McBride (Jason Graham) appearing to his daughter. When new episodes kick off on Tuesday, May 26, we’ll get to see the continuation of the reunion. Hopefully, we’ll find out where Doug has been for the last eight months. And he’ll also tell Deanna (Angela Fairley) why he let everyone think he was dead.
We’re looking forward to seeing her reaction. And this is the first time we’ll get to see Doug actually interact with one of his children. However, at the end of the day, there must be a reason why Doug decided to show himself to his daughter. He needs her to complete a mission for him. Does it have to do with Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) or Joey (Jon Lindstrom)?
Joey Gives Donnell What He Wants
After the cotillion and the plasma ring shootout, Donnell (Alex Cheeks) paid Joey a visit. He wanted to know if he had anything to do with what went down at the warehouse. He also wanted Joey to know that he still has concerns about his mom’s partner. Joey did his best to appease Donnell and convince him that he would protect his mom with his life if it came down to it.
But before the end of Friday’s question, Donnell asked Joey one more question. And he wanted to know the truth and nothing but the truth. He asked Joey if he had anything to do with his father’s death. Tuesday’s episode may bring an answer when Joey gives Donnell what he wants. But will he give him the real truth? Or a version of it?
Leslie’s Stressing Big Time
The fallout from the plasma ring bust continues. But this time, we’re going to see it through Leslie’s eyes. She has real fears that the plasma ring’s reach could impact her. And it’s a viable concern, considering Lia (Cecelia Specht) engineered it so that Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) would start delivering plasma from the Phoenix Street Free Clinic.
Even though all hell broke loose shortly after Grayson’s first (and potentially only) free-clinic delivery, Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) has to wonder whether her nonprofit would be tainted by this scandal. In this one instance, Leslie is innocent. And there’s no way she will entertain any of the plasma ring drama rubbing off on her.
Bill Gives Tomas an Order
Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) tells Tomas (Alex Alegria) to stand down, which may mean he no longer needs his junior partner to investigate Lynette (Dominique Madison) and her whereabouts. Maybe because her name is being mentioned in the same breath as Lia. And because things are getting messy, Bill could decide to back out of digging into Lynette’s business and background. Little does he know how happy this news would make Hayley (Marquita Goings) if she knew about it.
This Must Be Kial’s Week
Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) recently made strides in their relationship. And then Nicole couldn’t get Ted (Keith D. Robinson) off her mind. This coming week, Kial (Greg Vaughan) is back in the picture. The two always have some sort of sexy fun together, and their next interaction seems to be no different. Look for Nicole to confide her fantasies to Kial. Is this going to be like Dani and Andre’s recent fantasies? Inquiring minds want to know.
