For Nicole, Confession is Good for the Soul
Speaking of Duprees and drama — Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) has been doing her best to stay out of it, but it keeps on finding her. For one thing, she’s keeping a huge secret from her son.
She now knows that Hayley’s leverage over Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) focuses on Martin’s traumatic evening with Vernon. That night has haunted the congressman ever since, and now Nicole is going along with her dad, who doesn’t want to tell Martin (Brandon Claybon) until after the election.
But Nicole’s drama isn’t all negative and toxic. In Friday’s episode, she gave Kial (Greg Vaughan) a key to her home and heart. And he accepted it. Is that what she reveals to Dani?
Naomi and Smitty Brace for Impact
Smitty (Mike Manning) is growing more worried about his impending legal situation with each passing day. He has told Martin that he won’t attend his political event because he doesn’t want to negatively impact his husband’s chances for re-election.
