An Unexpected Blast from the Past Triggers Dani in the Present
Thanks to Pamela (Cady McClain), Dani (Karla Mosley) is the focus of a retrospective about her life and her modeling career. Dani will surely love the attention. It’s just another step in her second-act comeback, after all.
Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix), Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantlla), Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), Anita (Tamara Tunie), and Vernon (Clifton Davis) will all be part of the television special.
This “Welcome to Your Life” moment comes complete with a couple of high-profile guest stars. Tabitha Brown plays Tia Allen, the entertainment host, who will guide Dani through this interview.
Meanwhile, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss plays Kalista Kilroy, Dani’s first modeling agent. Her presence will trigger an uncomfortable trip down memory lane. And it will leave Naomi, Chelsea, and Andre (Sean Freeman) to deal with the fallout.
According to TV Insider, Kilroy “arrives with a score to settle” and has chosen payback for her appearance. “Kalista feels like she’s been done wrong, and she’s hurt by what she feels has been done to her, ” Burruss revealed.
In BTG’s weekly video preview, Kalista and Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) reconnect. He certainly doesn’t seem happy to see her. Something tells us the vibe on the set will turn chaotic once Kilroy comes on the scene. Dani may regret ever saying yes to this interview.
