While Belle and Shawn have returned to Days of Our Lives (DOOL) for short visits, Martha Madison recently revealed her next visit will definitely last longer than a few days.
“Belle is going to be back with Shawn [Brandon Beemer] late August, I think we start, for a couple of months,” she shared. This comes as welcome news to fans who will finally get to see this adorable couple on screen for more than just a quick couple of episodes.
The two are certainly needed. Daughter Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) has been causing trouble left and right for Shawn’s younger sister, Ciara (Victoria Konefal). Not only that, Belle’s parents, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), are set to remarry.
In fact, the timing of ate August seems to coincide with that wedding, so perhaps this inspires this latest return and they find a reason to stick around town.
Last we heard, Belle was still working at DiMera, but since Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is in charge and not Chad (Billy Flynn), perhaps something will be happening on that front.

When asked for details, Madison laughed as she reminded that she’s not allowed to actually reveal future story, but she was willing to share one thing about what lies ahead.
“It was a lot of fun. I loved the story that we did,” she enthused. “I’m really proud of the work we did. It was probably one of my favorite times being at DAYS so I’m really excited to see how people respond to it.”
