It seems nobody can stay out of Victoria and Travis’s rapidly budding relationship on The Young and the Restless. First, Jill stuck her nose in their business in an attempt to break them up. Now, Victor wants to keep an eye on his daughter’s latest love.
Take Your Time
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Travis (Michael Roark) meet up to discuss an offer for Travis to come aboard at Newman Enterprises. Obviously, part of the purpose of Victor’s swift offer of employment was to both test Travis and keep an eye on him.
Clearly, Victor doesn’t understand that Victoria loves to rebel, and the more he tries to keep a man out of her life, the more likely she is to run straight into that man’s arms. Perhaps someday he’ll learn, but it seems more and more unlikely as the years go by.
I Have My Answer
Victor surely didn’t believe that Travis would turn down such a handsome sum — an amount that would certainly keep Victoria “happy” as he puts it. An enigma, Travis promptly turned Victor down flat out.
