Will Stitch and Ashley Reunite on The Young and the Restless

Rumor has it the Rayburn marriage may be on the rocks on “The Young and the Restless.” Stitch and Abby are growing further apart by the day–and another woman may be waiting in the wings.

Max Comes First
According to teasers in the July 11 issue of Soaps in Depth, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway Gaston) remain on edge. He’s focused on making Max (Jared Breeze) whole again–and Abby may not fit in anymore. He still loves his wife. However, she’s not who he wants by his side while he deals with Max.

The couple already lost one child, and coming close to losing Max causes more tensions. Abby feels out of the loop as Stitch pushes her to the side. He doesn’t know how to lean on his wife. To make matters worse, Stitch will find a shoulder to lean on that’s way too close to home.

Stitch’s inability to reach out to Abby leads him right back to her mother. He then turns to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) for emotional support. Their history could become an issue if old feelings bubble to surface.

If Stitch doesn’t make his marriage his number one priority, the whole thing could crumble. Abby’s fought hard to keep her marriage intact and if she learns her mother’s the reason it’s falling apart she’ll be completely devastated.
