Jess Walton finally returns to Genoa City as Jill Abbott. After months of video call appearances, the character appears in the flesh. She’ll begin airing on Wednesday, October 19.
Mishael Morgan’s status with the soap has officially changed. The actress opted not to re-up her contract with the show. Hence, she’s moved from contract to recurring player, so expect to see less of her character, Amanda Sinclair.
The Young and the Restless History
Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.
