The week of November 21, 2022
After years off the Genoa City canvas – he last aired in 2016 – Michael Graziadei resurfaces as Daniel Romalotti, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) son. The actor is back on the soap full-time and makes his debut on Monday, November 21.
Meanwhile, the show has lost one of its top leading ladies again. Mishael Morgan is out as Amanda Sinclair, the actress opting not to re-sign with the soap. The character has headed to Virginia to be with her mother, Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey), who is hospitalized.
Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) heart to the complicated love story of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
