While fans are still reeling from the loss of Kelly Sullivan from “The Young and the Restless” the cast and crew also feel the void, including Joshua Morrow.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Sullivan’s on-screen hubby is already missing his friend. “She’s everything you’d want in a costar,” he said. “When I found out she was leaving, I was very depressed out it.”
Morrow was the only person Sullivan told of her departure, sending him a text when she found out the news. When the two finally connected, Morrow was crushed to hear she was axed from the show.
But, like a true soap vet, he can also see beyond his own disappointment in losing a costar. “I was very impressed it went this route,” he said about the dramatic storyline surrounding Sage’s death. “The way it unfolded was genius.”

Morrow is right about Sage’s death giving new layers to an old story. Her untimely passing paves the way for more twists and turns in the baby Christian plot. Now that Sage is gone, Sharon (Sharon Case) is left to decide whether to tell the truth or bury her secret forever.
As soap fans know, lies eventually get exposed, and Y&R teasers say the truth will come any day. What will Nick do when he finds out Christian is alive? And, how will he react when the bigger secret’s revealed that his brother Adam (Justin Hartley) is really the little boy’s dad?
