Trouble is Brewing
Jack (Peter Bergman) has had a hard time figuring out his wife lately. She was distant for so long, and even with that difficult period behind them, he still finds her acting strange. Jack senses she’s keeping a secret but he can’t get her to open up. Spoilers tease that Jack takes issue with Phyllis’s motives – perhaps he isn’t happy that she’s teaming up with Victor (Eric Braeden) to stop Summer’s (Hunter King) wedding.
More Fizzle than Sizzle
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) catches Mariah (Camryn Grimes) in a lie. While she hates that she disappointed her best friend, she’s also plagued by her burgeoning feelings for him. She knows their first try ended horribly, but she can’t stop herself from wanting more. Unfortunately for Mariah, while she’s obsessing about Kevin, Kevin is obsessing about Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

Kevin is determined to clear Chloe’s name and that means getting Adam (Justin Hartley) out of prison. He tries to get Paul (Doug Davidson) to reopen Adam’s case, feeling it’s the only way he can prove she’s innocent. Perhaps if he can do that, he could win her back.
Good for the Soul
It’s hard for Chloe to keep focusing on hate when she has her beautiful daughter in her life. She’s also plagued by guilt when she sees how hard things are for her best friend Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). All of her pent up feelings start to bubble out, and she confesses. Will it just be the small stuff or will she reveal her deepest secret?
