Upcoming “Young and the Restless Spoilers” reveal that Sage knew the truth about Christian the entire time!
The massive secret is revealed in a sealed letter that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) left for Adam (Justin Hartley) in her will. In her final words to her best friend, she tells him that she realized the truth by the way he acted when Christian died. Sage came to the conclusion that Adam switched the paternity test.
Instead of being bitter, Sage thanks him for saving her marriage, and not putting her family through any more pain than necessary. Sage’s final request to Adam is that he forever keep the secret between them. She never wants Nick (Joshua Morrow) to learn that she deceived him and break his heart all over again.
Sage’s letter causes Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to question what Sage wanted when she called him right before she died. Was she calling to confess that she knew the truth and couldn’t hold it in any longer–or was there something more going on?

Unfortunately, Sage’s death means that Adam may never know what drove Sage to call him that night, and the secrets between them died with her. Adam sets the letter in the fireplace, hoping to destroy the evidence forever.
Does this mean that Sage was willing to lie to Nick forever, even if Christian was in her arms the entire time? Even just before her death, was she still willing to lie about Christian’s paternity?
What will happen now when the truth does come out? Now that Adam knows that Sage never wanted Nick to know the truth, will he help Sharon cover up Sully’s identity if he finds out before the rest of the Newmans? Or, will he stake claim to his son and demand that he raise Christian?
