Young and the Restless Spoilers: Did Sage Kill Constance?

Suspicions are rising about the legitimacy of Sage’s diary and now “The Young and the Restless spoilers” reveal that Constance died a slow, painful, poisonous death. Adam has been arrested for her murder, Victor is blamed for forging a diary, but no one is sure who’s telling the truth.

There’s one other possibility no one is thinking about yet. What if it was Sage (Kelly Sullivan) herself who took out the old lady?

Victor’s (Eric Braeden) a scheme king, but the journal is full of too many intimate moments only Sage and Nick would know. Also, as Nick (Joshua Morrow) points out, how did Victor know that she kept a journal and what it looked like in the first place? Considering he’s in prison, is it even feasible he could concoct and carry out such an elaborate plan?

Adam (Justin Hartley) certainly didn’t kill Constance, or so he claims. We know the elderly lady discovered Gabe’s true identity right before she died and she wanted to turn him in. Could Adam have started poisoning Constance when he first realized she was suspicious?

Then, did Sage slip Constance (Sally Kellerman) the deadly cocktail to keep her from exposing Adam? After all, after Gabe died, Adam was all she had left. If Adam was arrested and thrown in jail, Sage would have nothing except a decrepit old woman who needed constant care.

Constance’s death gave Sage the opportunity to run to Genoa City and start a new life. She had no ties, no responsibility, and a small nest egg of Bingham money. Sage was finally free of her Cinderella lifestyle and able to find her first bit of happiness since the death of her best friend.
