Jess Walton on Her Exciting Return to The Young and the Restless

Veteran “Young and the Restless” star Jess Walton is back in Genoa City as the formidable Jill and has plans to fix Billy’s life.

Jill is appalled to see the wreck her son made of us life. He’s on the outs with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and his business life is less than productive. What she doesn’t know is that his affair with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) has turned his life upside down, Walton told TV Guide in its July 11 issue.

Jill will take the reigns at Brash and Sassy, forcing Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria to spend time together. The protective mother thinks working together will reunite the exes.

“Jill believes Victoria will come back to Billy in a heartbeat. And you know what? I think it’s true,” Walton said.

A New Outlook
Walton joked that she relishes playing a character that is sure she’s always right. However, she knows this bullheadedness has made Jill persona non grata in Genoa City.

“I feel wanted. I’m relaxed, free, spontaneous. I have nothing to prove,” Walton noted.
