The explosion that presumably killed Adam rocked the Newman family off its foundation. Nick informed his parents that the cabin where The Moustache hid his son exploded in a fiery flash. While Nikki covered her face in horror, Victor remained stoic but obviously shaken!

How can Victor (Eric Braeden)continue on knowing that he caused his own son’s demise? Soap Hub asked if you think Victor loses his mind if Adam is truly dead.

Victor Stays Tough
More than 8,100 of you voted, and 54% of you don’t think Victor will lose his mind after finding out about the explosion. He didn’t become The Moustache without developing an entire arsenal of coping skills.

Even with Adam presumed dead, you think he manages to keep it all together because he is Victor after all. He’s been through a lot in his life, and he’ll make it through this with his sanity intact.

Victor Loses It
Then, there are the 41% of you who can’t imagine Victor making it through this. Yes, he’s been through a lot in his long, meddling life, but you just don’t see him surviving knowing that his actions lead to Adam’s likely demise.

This could finally be the last straw for Victor. He may not be able to survive this horrible turn of events knowing that he set it all in motion with his truly despicable behavior.

Finally, 6% of you aren’t sure how Victor handles this terribly tragic news. You know he’s strong and developed very thick skin over all the years, but you also know this news is absolutely devastating. You could see this going either way for the Newman patriarch. You’re just not sure how he’ll end up reacting.
