The Young and the Restless star Daniel Goddard (Cane) reached a huge milestone Friday. He celebrated 20 years living in The United States.

For the last two decades, Goddard has made the US his home. The actor took to social media to commemorate the special day and reflect on how his life has changed since his arrival here. Goddard has fallen in love, became a husband, father, and daytime superstar.
“Twenty years ago today I came to America,” Goddard wrote. “And today… I am blessed with my beautiful family, a dream job, and life. God bless this incredible country! And thank you to everyone who has helped and supported me in any and every way over the years. There are too many to thank but without each and every one of you… I would have nothing. My heart is full of gratitude, love, and appreciation! I truly am a lucky man. Thank you.”

How Much We Love Daniel Goddard!
Goddard landed the role of Cane on Y&R in 2007 and became an instant fan favorite. His performance made him such a success that when the show tried to fire in him 2011, it infuriated the audience! Y&R fans far and wide began a campaign to bring back Cane. Their hard work paid off and Goddard remains a Genoa City staple to this day!
