The Young and the Restless recaps for November 15 – November 19, 2021, feature a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown setting off on a mission, and so much more.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are apoplectic over the publication of an article detailing Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) myriad of crimes. When the article’s author shows the email she received from Billy okaying the release, they realize that Billy’s phone was hacked.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) were aghast over Abby Newman Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) decision to leave Dominic with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Abby takes her leave under the cover of darkness.
Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) claims that everything he told Lily and Billy in regards to Ashland was a lie. At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) urging, Jesse says the same on video…Sharon Rosales (Sharon Chase) is put out by the sight of Adam flirting with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), and both she and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) are dubious over Adam’s interaction with Jesse. Adam charges that Billy blackmailed him with the article about Ashland.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is chagrined to learn that Dominic is in Devon’s care…Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) asks Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) to design her upcoming album’s cover…Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) have an awkward cross at Society; Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is on hand to calm his ex. Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) urges Jack not to repeat past mistakes where Phyllis is concerned.
Abby retreats to a motel room, where she pours over mementos precious to Chance Chancellor. She makes contact with one of her husband’s acquaintances, who tells her that Chance is alive…Devon and Victor each hire a P.I. to track Abby down…Billy offers Victor a quid-pro-quo arrangement – Billy will step down as co-CEO of Chance Comm if Victor will convince Ashland to drop the lawsuit he’s just filed against the media company.
Lily castigates Billy for the proposal he left with Victor…Devon and Ashley deduce that Abby is headed for Spain. Ashley decides to meet her daughter there; Jack decides to hitch a ride – all in the vain hope that putting distance between himself and Phyllis will reset their relationship to its pre-confession of love days.
