The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 6, 2020, finds Summer and Kyle reconsidering eloping, Lily dealing with Devon and Billy, Adam and Victor absorbing a loss, and the endless mystery of the missing necklace continuing to meander.
With Nick (Joshua Morrow), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), and Jack (Peter Bergman) all less than enthused about their engagement, Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) decide to run off and elope.
But now that they have the appointment and are just waiting for the next morning, they’re finally getting around to discussing whether or not they really want to do this. But, in reality, they’re more scared about what their Mommy and Daddies will say. This is proof of their maturity?
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) lives up to her own hype and manages to get Victor (Eric Braeden) and Adam’s (Mark Grossman) lawsuit against Chancellor Communications dismissed. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Eagan) blames Billy (Jason Thompson). How dare he publish the truth about the saint that is Chelsea’s beloved! Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) worries about Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind).
Lily (Christel Khalil), while talking to Devon (Bryton James) about Amanda being Hilary’s twin sister and managing to make it all about herself, gets the good news. Billy wants to talk future plans. Lily is game, but makes it clear, from now on, no more acting on his own.
Phyllis wants Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to invest in an awesome business venture. She declines to mention it’s because Phyllis desperately needs money. Victoria declines to help.
At the same time, Jack (PeterBergman) traces the infamous missing necklace Dina (Marla Adams) wore that one time in that one home movie, to Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) dad. Seems he bought it. Now maybe Lauren has it. Lauren promises to dig through his stuff. Who is on the edge of their seats? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
