The Young and the Restless Recap: Nikki Asks Ashland To Walk Away

The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, October 7, 2021, picks up with Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke working through his latest bombshell, while Jesse Gaines tells all to Billy Abbott, and Adam Newman has an errand to run before he and Sally Spectra head to Italy.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Ashland (Richard Burgi) told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that he forged a codicil to his benefactor’s will which allowed him to inherit her money and buy her companies. Now that Ashland Media is merged with Newman Enterprises, his sins might become Victoria’s. Oh, and does she still want to marry him?

Victoria does. Which is a relief to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who otherwise might have had to cancel all her plans at the last minute. She urges Victoria to invite Nichols Newman (Joshua Morrow) too, or else Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be her only sibling at the ceremony. Victoria isn’t feeling it. So Nikki yells at Ashland for lying to her family and suggests he do the right thing and let Victoria go.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is a lot less hostile towards Ashland. He still believes his future son-in-law is aces and tells Victoria so. Victor’s little girl is happy. Is there anything more important than that?

Young and the Restless: Ace in the Hole

Jesse fills Billy (Jason Thompson) in on pretty much the same thing Ashland filled Victoria in on – only he has proof. Billy feels bad for Victoria and insists he wants to protect her. She’s the mother of his children, you know. Oh, and he also thinks she’s a nice person.

Y&R Recap: Wheels Up

Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) covered for Sally (Courtney Hope) when Adam presumed – correctly – that Sally had spilled the beans about designing an alternative wedding dress for Victoria.

Adam tells Sally they’ll be flying to Milan shortly. But first, he stops by Billy’s place to say he knows that Billy is hiding Jesse – and that Adam has no intention of allowing Billy to crash Victoria’s wedding.
