The Young and the Restless Recap: Abby Dumps Dominic, Sneaks Off

The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, November 15, 2021, finds a new home for Dominic, while Billy Abbott and Lily Winters try to put out a series of fires, and Sally Spectra wonders why Adam Newman isn’t doing the same.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) dropped her baby off with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and then just left. Devon asked Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) how she felt about it.

Amanda said she’s good. Considering that this is a woman who herself was abandoned as an infant, we have to wonder whether she might go from “good” to…overly attached. How many mothers and mother substitutes does this child need? We’re at three and counting.

Abby tells her parents what she’s done. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) questions her decision and hides her concerns, but offers Abby her complete support. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) questions her decision and doesn’t hide his concerns.

He, honestly, can’t understand how his daughter could have made such an important call without turning to him, first. Later, he and Ashley agree that, if they see that Abby is upset, they will overrule her decision because, well, obviously, they know best. Realizing that her parents may not be all-in, Abby later sneaks out of the house for parts unknown.

Young and the Restless: How Did This Happen?

Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily (Christel Khalil) race to figure out how their Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) story got uploaded without either of them authorizing it. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) texts her fury at Billy. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) reminds Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that this doesn’t concern them.

And Sally (Courtney Hope) wonders why Adam (Mark Grossman) is so chill about something that could bring down his media company. Adam assures Sally that he has everything under control. They toast to it. Then continue flirting shamelessly. Then Sharon and Rey walk in. But that’s not nearly as shocking as Jesse walking in to tell Billy and Lily they’ve been had.
