Life has finally begun to run smoothly for The Young and the Restless’ Noah Newman, an accomplishment worthy of celebration – something that actor Robert Adamson is already in the midst of doing.
Happy Birthday, Robert Adamson!
And that’s because he was born on July 11, 1985, in Salt Lake City, Utah, which means that this talented performer is turning 35 years old today! After studying his craft at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Adamson landed his first role: “Frank – 1995” in an episode of Cold Case.
He subsequently guest-starred on the FX comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and appeared in the feature film Dr. Chopper. Between 2007 and 2009, Adamson had a starring role in ABC Family original drama series Lincoln Heights and he followed that with appearances in Sonny with a Chance and Jonas, as well as a number of made-for-television films.
In 2012, Adamson played Phil Sanders in the American telenovela Hollywood Heights and his skills so impressed that show’s executive producer – Jill Farren -Phelps – that when she took over stewardship of YR she offered him the opportunity to replace actor Kevin G. Schmidt in the part of Noah Newman.
Adamson made his daytime debut on October 1 and he has appeared on the show ever since – albeit usually on either recurring status or as a special guest star.
Adamson’s other acting credits include a guest spot on NCIS, a recurring role on Stumptown, and films such as Devoted, It’s Complicated, and Lip Service. Adamson is also the proud father of a daughter, Aleda Seren (born June 12, 2014) whom he shares with former fiancée and fellow daytime star Linsey Godfrey.
