The first casualty of the post-Mal Young (former head writer and executive produce) regime at The Young and the Restless appears to Alice Hunter.
The actress, who joined the soap in October of 2018 as Jabot lab scientist Kerry Hunter and began garnering more screen time when she was paired romantically with Jack (Peter Bergman), has reportedly been let go.
Hunter shared news of her upcoming departure on Twitter, posting, “Yes, Kerry is taking an indefinite hiatus.” Hunter added that she loved her five-month arc on the soap and was “sad to leave.”
