When poor Adam was carted off to prison on “The Young and the Restless,” his wife, Chelsea, went off the rails.
Did Chelsea Go Too Far?
Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) recent breakdown led her down a dangerous path. Threatening Victor (Eric Braeden) was shocking, to say the least. It made her a hero to some fans–and a villain to others.
Soap Hub asked where you stand on Chelsea’s actions. Does she deserve Victor’s wrath or were her actions understandable considering the circumstances?
Team Chelsea All the Way!
Out of nearly 8,000 votes, 80% of you are proud of Chelsea for standing up for her family. Her father-in-law is a monster and is lucky Chelsea didn’t take things a step further. Setting Adam (Justin Hartley) up and ripping her family apart gives her more than enough reason to seek revenge. Victor’s ruthless, but Chelsea is a woman on the edge, and you hope she can take him down.
Victor Fans Speak Out!
A much smaller 16% hope Victor steps up his game and puts Chelsea in her place. Sure, he set the ball rolling, but ultimately it’s Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) fault Adam remains behind bars. Victor planned to save his son at the last moment. Adam would be a free man if Chloe didn’t steal the diary pages.
The final 4% find the Newman family wars disturbing. Parents scheming against their children and kids plotting against them becomes too much, too often. You hope the Newmans can finally come together and be a loving family–one day.
