Summer’s not quite as naive as she seems. According to new “Young and the Restless spoilers,” she’s finally waking up and sees what’s right in front of her.
Summer’s (Hunter King) starts to suspect Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) may not be the great guy he seemed to be. In fact, she’s realizing he’s been trying to fool her all along. Guys have tricked her in the past and she feels foolish for not being on high alert sooner.
The more Luca acts like he’s trying to save Newman Enterprises, the more Summer has doubts. Fighting over Travis (Michael Roark) and hearing him bash Victoria (Amelia Heinle) have her questioning everything she thought she knew. Why would her boyfriend slam Vicky and try to destroy her relationship if he was on their side?
This revelation could be just what the Newmans need to find who’s behind the oil division disaster. If Summer decides to play double agent and take down her man, she could become the family hero–assuming Luca’s really the one behind it all.

Summer suspecting Luca could very well be another bait and switch. Victor (Eric Braeden) has a lot of minions–including a mysterious brunette. The Mustache has money and power and may have an outside staff right at his beck and call.
Either way, Summer’s got her walls up while looking for red flags. She plans to keep a close eye on her boyfriend and make sure he doesn’t get any opportunity to take her family down.
