Y&R Spoilers January 26: Victor Newman Keeps Adam On His Toes

The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, January 26, 2022, point to Victor Newman reminding Adam Newman that it’s Victor’s world, they only live in it…and at Victor’s discretion, to boot. Plus, Nikki Newman also has some choice things to say to a person who desperately needs to hear it – according to Nikki, and Devon Hamilton leans heavily into a new challenge.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Remember when Victor (Eric Braeden) promised Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that he would retire and spend all of his free time adoring her now? Yeah, well, he found the limits of those delights. Victor is not only regretting that decision, he’s also regretting handing his company over to his daughter (she did blackmail him into that one), or buying a media company for his son to play with (he did whine Victor into that one).

So now it’s time to show the world – but mostly his children – who is really boss. Victor told Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) to stop lowballing him in business and warned that if he WERE to sell her Newman Media, then Adam (Mark Grossman) would have to be part of the package. And then Victor told Adam that unless his son outsmarts his sister, Victor will make Victoria Adam’s new boss. What a dad!

Young and the Restless: Word of Warning

Nikki should be telling Victor to cool it. We can only hope that’s the case. But, much more likely, she is giving Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) yet another dressing down about how he has to remember he’s second to Victoria while telling Victoria that her husband is suspicious and she should watch out for him. You know, if Victor had done as he promised and distracted her via non-stop adoration, none of this would be happening.

Devon (Bryton James) keeps leaning more and more into his role as Dominic’s father. Will his new challenge be full-time parenthood…or staying on the good side of Dominic’s mother?
