The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, October 5, 2022, are a plethora of differences of opinion as Connor Newman’s parents disagree on how to best nurture his perfection, while Victor Newman lays down the law to Tucker McCall, and Noah Newman runs into a familiar face.
The one thing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) agree on is that there has never lived a child more precious and wonderful than Connor (Judah Mackey). And that the boy should never experience a moment of discomfort or unhappiness. Now that Chelsea has told Connor about being Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) biological mother, Connor is both uncomfortable and unhappy. Also whiny.

Did we leave out whiny? Somehow, based on what Chelsea told him, Connor has drawn the conclusion that Chelsea now wants to be Johnny’s mother and not his. Are these the kind of critical thinking skills the Newmans spent all that money to send him to private school for? Connor is sads, and Adam blames Chelsea. Which means it’s time for Mommy and Daddy to have a rip-roaring…difference of opinion about it.
Victor (Eric Braeden) drops by Tucker’s (Trevor St. John) hotel to tell him to get out of town. And if he insists on staying in town, to stay away from Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). And if he goes after Ashley, to really stay away from Chancellor-Winters. Who cares if one half of that name belonged to Tucker’s mother, and the other half belongs to his son? It’s Victor’s for the taking. Tucker is the interloper here. You got that?
Noah (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) are totes in love now. Just take their word for it. Noah has even gotten over whoever that mystery woman who dumped him in London was. Hey, could that mystery woman by any chance be the same woman now handling Chancellor-Winters going public? She sure comes up to Noah like they’re old friends.
