The Y&R spoilers for Friday, December 9, 2022, tease a bold move, a bluff called, and a change of heart. You won’t want to miss a bit of what’s happening next.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has made it quite clear to Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) that he wants a divorce. He also discussed it with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), and later, he even gave Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) some of the details.
Ultimately, Chance makes a bold move, and we wonder if it involves hiring a divorce lawyer. He’s absolutely convinced that things with Abby aren’t salvageable, so he’s ready to get himself out of their marriage as quickly as he can.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) did not appreciate Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) showing up at the door of his family home. Even so, he kept things light the first time they talked.

Of course, when Jeremy isn’t around, Jack is furious about the man’s arrival in Genoa City, and he’s looking to blame Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). When their paths cross again, look for Jack to call Jeremy Stark’s bluff.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was raring to go on a business trip with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). He even hoped that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) would go with him so that they could enjoy some couple time together in between all the business he’d be conducting with Victoria. Somehow, though, Nate has a change of heart. Is it about going to Los Angeles at all, or is it about bringing along Elena?
