Y&R Spoilers For August 15: Victor Newman Gives Chance A ‘Loyalty’ Test

The Y&R spoilers for Monday, August 15, 2022, spotlight Victor Newman once again attempting to manipulate Chance Chancellor, while Victoria Newman does the same with Chance’s wife, and Phyllis Summers is vibrating with excitement at the promise of putting the screws to Diane Jenkins.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Victor (Eric Braeden) very subtly sat behind a chessboard and fondled the King while explaining to Chance (Conner Floyd) why investigating Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death was a waste of his time.

Now, Victor is giving his son-in-law one more chance to prove his loyalty to his wife’s family by telling Chance a version of the truth. Victor’s version. And seeing how far Chance will go to prove it.

Young & Restless Spoilers: Sister, Sister

Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) opts for divide and conquer when she applies pressure to Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) to call off her husband. This wouldn’t only be for the good of the Newmans. It would be good for Chance, too.

Surely, he doesn’t want to inspire Victor’s wrath? Not while he’s still dealing with his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, not to mention getting used to sharing Dominic with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Poor Chance has so much on his plate. Why add to it? Victoria is only telling Abby this because she cares about them both!

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) talked herself into a job with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier). A job that will put her in the same company with Diane (Susan Walters). Who will certainly do something awful sooner rather than later. And, just in case she doesn’t screw up on her own, Phyllis is here to help. And make sure the press — with a little help from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) – is there to document it.
