At the Abbott house, the women are celebrating Mother’s Day with Dina (Marla Adams) when an agitated Jack (Peter Bergman) bursts through the door, interrupting the festivities.
He has big news, and it’s about his paternity test! Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Tracey (Beth Maitland) are shocked while Dina (Marla Adams) is thoroughly confused.
Jack updates everyone he has taken a DNA test, and the results are in his hands!
Elsewhere, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) want to share a moment but Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is at home with them, and she’s not going anywhere.
Across town, the Ashbys celebrate Mother’s Day by having lunch. Everyone is there to shower Lily with gifts and love, including baby Sam.
Over at the Ranch, Kyle (Micheal Mealor) drops by unannounced, looking for Victor (Eric Braeden). He updates Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about Dina’s situation.

Kyle brushes off her confession, but Nikki refuses to allow him to leave. She needs to speak her mind.
The troubled young man listens to Nikki. However, instead of empathizing with her, Kyle rips into the apologetic Newman and storms off.
Back at home, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) give Mariah (Camryn Grimes) a ridiculous excuse to leave the house. Confused, the redhead leaves. As soon as she is gone, Nikk and Sharon revisit their ‘moment.’
Elsewhere, Dina (Marla Adams) is confused by Jack’s (Peter Bergman) update about the DNA test. The sisters force him away, and they try to settle Dina’s nerves.
Abby takes that moment to confront Kyle about the memory card and to her shock, he makes a startling confession!
At Sharon’s house, Nikki drops by and interrupts Nick and Sharon’s intimate moment. She needs help, and Sharon takes off with her.

The women share a hug, and Nick walks in on them. He is on high alert and wants to know why they are suddenly acting like mother and daughter?
In the meantime, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryan James) are working overtime at HW. He’s on the lookout for a new singer to add to his label. Devon also takes a moment to update the mother-to-be on a surprising change in his life.
Back at the Ranch, the women give Nick (Joshua Morrow) a believable story, and he buys it instantly.
Satisfied with the response, Nick moves onto another topic: a gift for his mother. It’s beautiful, and Nikki loves it!

That’s when Kyle loses it and strikes back at his father, and it shakes Jack to his core. The moment his father started on about his mother, Kyle was done. He rips Jack a new one and storms off leaving his father feeling more ashamed than ever!
Tracey turns on Jack to lecture him, and to her surprise, Dina appears and throws her a curveball.
To her utter shock, Dina remembers who Tracey is, and thanks her for the Mother’s Day gift.
The daughter and mother share a sweet hug, and it touches Tracey to her core. Sadly, it was fleeting, and in a matter of minutes, Dina is back to her old ways.
Back at HW, Devon updates Hilary he is single and not ready to mingle because he has other priorities.
It’s a surprising admission, but Hilary doesn’t question it. She has more pressing matters on her mind, and Devon notices. Eventually, the mother-to-be confesses she missed her mother dearly.
Devon’s heart goes out to her.
Back at lunch, Lily makes a promise to Sam. She loves him very much, and she will always see him as her son! Charlie, Maddie, and Cane melt.
Across town, Devon makes a promise to Hilary. He is in t for the long haul and wants to see her celebrating her first Mother’s Day next year! She is beyond thrilled!
Back at Sharon’s place, Mariah is back, and she has a surprise for her mother. Aside from the ingredients she had to pick up for them, Mariah also picked up a gift for Sharon. It’s a heartwarming moment!
Elsewhere, Abby and Kyle dissect the memory card scandal and come to a stark conclusion: Victor is most likely the person behind the hack.
In the meantime, Jack takes Dina aside and apologizes to her for his bad behavior. She forgives him, and he crumbles…
