The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Can Cane Save Lily?

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 22 reveal Kyle’s earlier claims to Mariah that he’s good at keeping secrets might not hold true.

Plus, Neil decides to go after Ashley, and Cane tries to comfort Lily… this time without plotting to flee the country.

Secrets and Lies
Kyle (Michael Mealor) swore to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he could keep her secret about looking for Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).

He also knows about Summer’s (Hunter King) plan to seduce Billy (Jason Thompson) away from Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)… and her trip to Philadelphia, where Billy is planning to be on business. Without Phyllis.

Taking the Plunge
Neil (Kristoff St. John) is getting mixed signals from Ashley (Eileen Davidson). She joined him for drinks, she listened to his jazz records, she spent the night.

Then, she responded to his text by saying she was too busy with work. Maybe there was a cute emoticon to soften the blow?

Nate (Brooks Darnell) urged Neil to go for it. Because his purpose in Genoa City seems to be offering unsolicited advice to all and sundry. Neil took Nate’s advice and decides to pursue Ashley. Will she be receptive?

The last time Cane (Daniel Goddard) tried to solve Lily’s (Christel Khalil) problems, he booked them five tickets to Australia.

You’d think a guy from a family of criminals would know the U.S. has an extradition policy Down Under. Lily blew up at him, and Cane backed down.

Now Cane is actually trying to be supportive in the way that Lily needs, not just in the way that Cane wants.

Yes, she’s worried about going to prison, but she is more concerned about her ruined relationship with Devon (Bryton James). What will Cane do about that?
