The “Young and the Restless Spoilers” confirm that Genoa City will suffer the traumatic and devastating loss of Sage Newman.
The car crash that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) was in on her way to tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) about their child claims her life. She dies with Sharon and baby Christian by her side after making her friend promise to tell the truth to Nick.
To her credit, Sharon (Sharon Case) does her best to keep Sage calm and give her friend her dying wish of being with her baby one last time. Sharon helps her hold her baby in her arms as she takes her last breath. Sage dies looking into Christian’s eyes and telling him how much she loves him.
By the time help arrives, it’s already too late, Sage is gone, and Sharon is left to get questioned what she knows. This is where Sharon shows her true colors. Sage’s death is her new beginning. No one knows that Sully is Christian, and she’s not about to let the news get out.

Sharon tells Paul (Doug Davidson) that she saw the accident as she was driving down the road and stopped to see if the driver was okay. When she realized the victim was Sage she called an ambulance and did her best to keep Sage alive. She doesn’t let on that she saw the crash happen, or the events that led up to Sage being in the car in the first place.
Later, Paul has the daunting task of calling Nick to the hospital to break the news that his wife is dead.
