Mariah and Tessa
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday tease some unexpected news, a clearing of the air, and a new understanding. This is sure to be a meaningful episode you won’t want to miss.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) want to be mothers, and they want to achieve that through adoption. They’ve already had one major disappointment when a potential birth mother went another way. They also had a shared miraculous Christmas dream that had a mom choosing to keep her baby after they delivered the little one in Crimson Lights.
Shortly after Christmas, the newlyweds learned another birth mom wanted to meet them, so they excitedly packed and went off to meet her. Now it’s time for them to come back to Genoa City. Mariah and Tessa return home with unexpected news. Is it the news they’d hoped to hear?

Billy (Jason Thompson) reeled after he and Lily (Christel Khalil) broke up for real. He’d been willing to do anything — even attend couples counseling, but it just wasn’t enough for Lily, especially after a disastrous session. Now, Billy and Lily clear the air — again. Will they be able to remain on good terms after their adult breakup? It seems likely.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) struggled after Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) told Johnny the truth about being his birth mother. After Chelsea attempted to take her own life, Victoria tried to be a bit more understanding, but she clearly didn’t love Chelsea and Johnny exchanging Christmas gifts and the like.
However, now these two mothers, Victoria and Chelsea, reach an understanding. It seems like they’ll learn to function as a complex family unit and be even closer than they were before when Johnny and Connor thought they were cousins instead of half-brothers.
