The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, May 19, 2020 continues a flashback week focused on the Winters family with the debut of Malcolm. Plus, we also get a look back at the romance of Adam’s parents, and Cricket continues to chirp. The episode originally aired May 6, 1994.
When Neil (Kristoff St. John) first showed his face in Genoa City, he was a hot young Jabot executive who first tangled with, then fell in love with the feisty Dru (Victoria Rowell). He and Dru married, and all was well… until Neil’s long-lost brother, Malcolm (Shemar Moore) showed up. The two sparred, then became close.
Oh and, along the way, Malcolm slept with Dru while she was loopy on cold medicine and thought he was Neil. This is where we got Lily (Christel Khalil). But that’s in the future. For now, just enjoy the first day of the photographer who would change the dynamics of the Winters clan.
These days, Victor (Eric Braeden) is protecting Adam (Mark Grossman) from the truth that, as a boy, he killed AJ, the loan shark who’d murdered his stepfather and murdered Hope (Signey Coleman).
In the past, Victor was protecting Hope from doing something silly like going for honest, upstanding Cliff, when she had the opportunity to bag Victor Newman himself! Just imagine, if Victor’s charm offensive hadn’t worked, there never would have been an Adam. More importantly, there never would have been a Connor (Judah Mackey)!
Ever since Cricket (Lauralee Bell) became a lawyer overnight, she helped senior citizens fight evictions, found Jack’s (Peter Bergman) long-lost son on the streets of Vietnam, and fixed sexual harassment in the workplace. Tune in tomorrow to see which social ill she brings to justice next!
